A new chapter
This year the students started serving.
Catalyst Circle Rock students, some of them kindergartners, began volunteering alongside staff to sort cans and pack bags for families on their own block.
Nobody framed it as charity. Nobody explained the sociology of food insecurity to them. They recognised a need in their community and responded, which is where community resilience actually starts.
